I’ve recently decided to do some Social Network investigating. I’m a research freak, because I love learning new things, and when I heard how effective Social Networking sites like Twitter and Facebook can be for helping to grow your business, I decided that it was time for me to bite the bullet and dive in, head first.

Social networking is quickly becoming the new thing that people “can’t” live without. With sites like Myspace, Facebook and twitter (among others), it has relatively easy to connect with family, friends and meet new people.

Part of the reason why these sites are so addictive is because they allow real people to connect with each other in a way that was never possible before these sites came on the scene. One of the things I love about these sites is the ability to connect with people I haven’t seen in ages.

Twitter is a social media utility that is used by people to keep in touch, meet new people interested in the same topics, and attract readers to your blog, website, or topic of choice. Twitter is part IM, Part facebook in concept. If you know facebook and how it allows updates to all your friends, then you will have a general idea of how it works.
