This is the first of a series of interviews that I will be doing with people who are making money online. In this interview, I’m talking with Kyle, owner of augmentedrealityhomepage.com, a website under development. Kyle just started out as a Freebie Trader and was able to make $100 in his VERY FIRST DAY at CaliStyle101.

I wanted to get Kyle on an interview because sometimes we forget how it was when we first started making money online and it’s good to get a fresh perspective. What Kyle has done is not strange. Many people have done the same (and more). While I only made $70 in my first day, I still remember the feeling.

Leslie: This is Leslie the Freebie Guy from thefreebieguy.net and I’m on the phone with Kyle right now and he’s going to be talking to us a little bit about his experience getting into freebie trading and what kind of success he’s having with it. So Kyle hey thank you so much for joining me on this call.

Kyle: Oh not a problem. How are you doing?

Leslie: I am doing very well thanks. How are you doing?

Kyle: Oh I’m doing great.

Leslie: Sounds good. Alright let’s just start a little bit by getting to know you. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?

Kyle: Okay. Yes. Not a problem. My name is Kyle. I am from Indiana. I am an entrepreneur and a programmer.

Leslie: Okay sounds good and is this something that you, do you do this for a living? Are you a programmer for a living or is that something you do on the side?

Kyle: It is a living. I do a lot of contract jobs of companies.

Leslie: Okay. Is it purely stuff online that you do or do you do anything offline also?

Kyle: I do do quite a bit of offline stuff. I build like high end gaming machines so more towards the IT part of computers.

Leslie: Oh sounds interesting. Now what made you, what made you start looking for a way to make money online specifically when it comes to what you’re doing now at CaliStyle and Internet Marketing and so on?

Kyle: Okay. Well the last couple of months have been pretty difficult on me mainly financially basically how the market’s been and the recession we’ve been in, we’ve had a lot of companies that either dropped services or have wanted to lower their pay just because they’re not making that much money and they can’t pay us any better and you know the great thing with the internet you know there’s thousands of ways to make money. It’s just finding legitimate ones.

Leslie: Okay so there are thousands of ways to make money. What made you decide to, how did you find out about freebie trading? Why was that the place that you started to make money online?

Kyle: Well I actually heard of freebie trading a couple of years ago. It was actually on a BBC newscast I believe and it was about two college students that were getting like these free Ipods every week and it wasn’t costing any money and I was really interested in to it and I think I just forgot about it but I ended up hearing, I think I watched it again on youtube and it just peaked my interest again and then that’s when I started researching freebie websites and everything so I started doing the forms and researching it and everybody pointed me to CaliStyle101 and said how great it was and it was the best place on the web for that type of system.

Leslie: Yes I know the BBC thing that you’re talking about. I’ve seen it on youtube and I copied it and put it on my site also. Yeah that, I remember looking at that and saying to myself wow people are actually doing this stuff.

Kyle: Yes.

Leslie: That was really cool. Okay so you saw freebie trading, you heard about it before and you decided to give it a go. Were you skeptical at all?

Kyle: Yes. Definitely I was and I think that’s probably the reason why when I first heard about it I didn’t. You know there’s just so many scams out there, so many people. I personally I’ve been involved with that you know live locks money on and you know I didn’t really think it would work so yes I really did think it wasn’t legitimate.

Leslie: Okay. Was there something that, when you were doing the research, something that kind of convinced you, okay this is something that is legitimate, let me give it a try, was there one particular thing that did that?

Kyle: Yeah. Well when I started looking at it because I do do quite a bit of research trying to find out what things are legitimate or not and everywhere I was going specifically for CaliStyle101, everybody was giving good reviews. It wasn’t like affiliate so they weren’t getting their commissions to promote the website or anything but everybody that was talking about freebie trading was saying this is the best website to go to. You know you’re not going to lose any money. You’re going to only make money. So you know I was like what’s the worst that could happen so you know I went over to the website and registered and everything so.

Leslie: Okay sounds good. Alright so you finally decided alright I’m going to give this thing a try. It seems legitimate people seem to be making money and people are talking good things about it.

Kyle: Yes.

Leslie: And you decided to sign up. When you signed up, what was the first thing you did?

Kyle: The first thing I did when I signed up I went and watched the tutorials. There’s tutorial videos on, that walks you through the whole website to get you acquainted with everything and they’re very detailed, simple, very easy to understand them. You know it gives this overview of the whole system, how everything works and everything so I did the tutorials first then I introduced myself basically a blog post almost. I’m just letting everybody know who I am and I’m new to the freebie trading world and then I think within the first couple of minutes I had like 20 people send me messages, welcome me to the community, if they could help me with anything, they were there for me.

Leslie: Okay so you were well received in other words.

Kyle: Yes.

Leslie: Okay. Sounds good. So you watched the video tutorials, you go introduce yourself and people are welcoming you, what did you do next?

Kyle: After I got acquainted with the system and I introduced myself, I went into the forums and I started looking for mentors and they’re basically the people that help you along in the system in the beginning stages to show you how to make money and there were a lot of them. There were a lot of nice people on there. There were a lot of people there to help me but I ended up picking one in general and her name was Auna I believe.

Leslie: Okay. Now you contacted a mentor and you wanted to start making money. Now let me ask you this. When was this?

Kyle: When did I actually start?

Leslie: Yeah when did you actually start?

Kyle: Little over two days ago.

Leslie: Okay little over two days ago.

Kyle: Yes.

Leslie: Have you made any money?

Kyle: Yes.

Leslie: I know that’s the question everybody wants to hear the answer to, have you, did you make anything?

Kyle: Yes I made a $100 with about three hours of work and that was with signing on, going through the training and actually going to the website and doing the offers.

Leslie: So from the time you signed up and started watching the video tutorials it was about three hours and you made a $100?

Kyle: Yes right at a $100.

Leslie: Now how were you able to make, I mean when I started I made $70 and I was very excited about that.

Kyle: Yes.

Leslie: How were you able to make that hundred dollars? Can you kind of walk us through the steps?

Kyle: Okay basically when I found out what mentor that I wanted, I private messenger her, let her know that I was interested in what she had to offer and everything and she contacted me about ten minutes later and basically it was an introduction and asked me how much money I wanted to make, gave me a couple of options and I picked option one which was the $100 in the first day option. So I let her know that I wanted that. She signed up everything and the trade agreement, there’s a trade agreement to what you’re working for. After she got that signed up which took a couple minutes, there was three websites that I had to go to.

The first website all you do is you just go to the website, register your name and basically your contact information and then once you’re logged in there; it gives you a list of offers. You know it could, some of them are free offers. some of them are to like Netflix, stuff like that just you know for movies, very small offers stuff like that and I registered for those and completed all my offers and then it went green meaning I completed those offers, then I private message her, that I know, I went green on those websites and she was like great. We confirmed the trade and I sent her my PayPal email and then I you know had my first $100 in my PayPal account within that first day.

Leslie: That’s pretty exciting. Now I remember how I felt the first time I got my first payment. Do you remember, I mean it wasn’t that long? What did you feel the first time when you saw that money in your PayPal account?

Kyle: Oh I thought it was great because you know like I said I’ve got scammed before and I wasn’t 100% sure that this was going to work but especially that fast. You know I’ve had, I’ve done things online and hey it’s taking a week or two. I mean this was less than 24 hours I had my money so and I was like wow. This is awesome.

Leslie: That is pretty awesome. So you’ve been doing it for two days. You’ve made a $100 so I can imagine you’re not too sad about that.

Kyle: No, no. I’m not sad at all.

Leslie: Sounds good. Now do you plan on continuing as a freebie trader or is that a silly question?

Kyle: Oh yeah. I see its easy money. I mean there’s just no reason why people can’t make money just following the system and I mean the system is simple. I mean there’s no lie about it. I mean you just follow a couple steps and you know you get paid.

Leslie: Sounds good. Now do you have, I know it’s still pretty soon after you just started but do you have any plans on expanding outside of freebie trading or is freebie trading good enough for you?

Kyle: You know it quite possibly be, I mean I can definitely see how there could be a full time income right now but I do like multiple streams of income so I’m still doing a lot of my programming I believe and I’ll still do my internet marketing but I mean this is, fits very well into what I do.

Leslie: Okay so basically you’ll be doing a number of different things that are going to help you to accomplish your goal of making money online.

Kyle: Right. Yes.

Leslie: Alright sounds good. One last question I guess. What would you say if there’s someone that’s listening to this right now, someone that’s maybe checking out my blog and they heard about freebie trading, they’re a bit skeptical about whether CaliStyle101 is legitimate or not, whether you can actually make money? What would you say to that person right now?

Kyle: I’d tell them after they listen to this interview, stop having that disbelief and go to the website and sign up. No but seriously just for anybody, I’ve been in their position. I’ve been wanting to make extra money. You know I’m not that old. You know I’ve gone to college and everything so I mean money you know everybody needs more money especially in the times we’re in right now. I would just you know just suspend disbelief for you know two hours, just go to the website, sign up. I mean you’re going to have money you know the next day or so. I mean it’s just too simple not to. I mean go out and give it a try. I mean if you don’t like it, you don’t got to do it but I mean if you want an extra $100 in 24 hours or something like that just go to the website, watch the tutorials, get acquainted with it and you know there’s no way your not going to make money with CaliStyle101.

Leslie: Sound good. Hey Kyle thank you so much for joining me on this call. I enjoyed talking to you and I’m sure the people that are listening enjoyed listening to your successes even though you’re just starting but you’re doing very well so keep up the good work. Is there a website that you have that you’d like to mention as a part of this or anything of that sort?

Leslie: Okay augmentedrealityhomepage.com and what will that be about?

Kyle: That is about overlaying 3D images on top of like Iphones and web cameras, GE and a lot of places right now are promoting that pretty heavily so I think that’s going to be something really big in industry.
