I actually use a browser client. Everyone should really check it out. Google HootSuite. I have to say it is the best thing I have come across in a while.

Tess-I agree with Leslie-It is not very time consuming to be effective. If you have columns of different people you want to interact with you can easily find their tweets from the day and respond. You can also quickly find tweets from people in response to you and respond quickly. By the way-Tweet Deck has recently updated and now supports multiple accounts as well as Seesmic. This is a very informative post, Onna. I have not used a Twitter Client as of yet, but I now see the advantages of doing so. I definitely will be looking into this now that I see how helpful it is to utilize a Twitter Client. Thanks for this post.

I’m not Onna, but I can give some input. Twitter does not have to be time consuming. Actually, 5 – 10 tweets daily can be enough to have a significant effect, especially if you have built a good following. Like everything else, you can easily waste time on it. The key is being efficient. The tools that Onna mentioned here are definitely tools that can increase your efficiency.
