Yes, stay away from NIS! That’s the first freebie site I tried out. I do not see any long term potential for success there. On the other hand their is CS101 which is rising to the top and I plan on riding that wave calistyle. lol

I have been around for 2 yrs. Longer than some and shorter than others. I am a trader on all 5 sites. Each site has something that makes it unique whether it be the forum itself or the traders on it. I have seen a lot of changes some for the good and some for the bad.

What drove me to Calistyle 101 was not only the friends I have made through the yrs but I also see a forum that will grow into one of the best we will see in the future as a trading forum. It has a lot of what other sites have but it also has tools you don’t see on any other forum. Their training videos are the best.
Leslie and Chris are traders themselves so they know and can relate to what other traders can use to help their trading more smoothly not only for the beginners but for the older traders alike.
If you looking for a new forum to get started on I would highly suggest Calistyle 101

I wouldn’t really worry about what PPD is doing, they obviously have shot themselves in the foot joining up with NIS, that will be the downfall of both entities. Anyway thanks for posting up these stats, it is interesting to see, but it is right about how I would have guessed.

My hope would be that all of the forums see what is good at the others and incorporate it so that all of them improve. For instance, Calistyle should borrow A4F’s easy system to bump a trade thread, while A4F should produce videos to teach newcomers how to navigate the site. One of the big issues with any forum is that success means increased size. Increased size means it is more difficult, particularly for newcomers, to find information. Are there any forum experts or information retrieval experts out there who could suggest better ways to organize a forum?

I must say that out of all the freebie trading forums I have seen thus far CaliStyle101 has the best set up. Places that I need to find are easy and if I have any questions Leslie and Chris are always helpful. This is an awesome place to make money and they actually help you to make money and not just themselves.

I havent checked Alexa lately but i see things are about what i have figured.Im glad to be getting in on this with you Leslie i hope Calistyle will rise to the top it looks like the things are in place to make that happen and with you taking over it shouldnt take long with your reputation in the freebies world.I am a member of all the top 5 forums but 1 and you mentioned its the 1 that is slowly going downhill and fast im not here to bad mouth or anything but im sure what you think and what i think about this forum are gonna be along the same lines.I just want to add out of those top 5 forums im gonna have to say that Calistyle should be the easiest place for a brand new trader to start and i dont say this because im a member now i say it because from what i see it really is the truth.Of course anyone who knows me knows FLR is my home but since joining Calistyle i see a few things there that FLR needs to step up to the plate and do.I love the video tutorials on calistyle and the point in the right direction they have for new people to trading. Some forums have so many subforums and mumbo jumbo it confuses some to where they dont know what to do or reads something that scares them off.To any new trader if you do read of a bad experience anywhere just take into consideration that is a unique event dont let it scare you away you can ask around there are hundreds of traders that have never had any problems whatsoever.In closing i want to say GOOD LUCK Leslie with your forum and HAPPY TRADING to everyone even the new people come check it out if you havent already this is the easiest way i think you could possibly make money online and you will find the freebie world has a community of people willing to help in anyway possible to make your start go as smoothly as possible.

Calistlye has done a complete 180 from where it was when i first saw it… it was so dead at that point that i didnt bother to sign up… Since thefreebieguy has taken over Calistlye101 the forum looks great… I am patiently waitting to see what the future holds for Cali as well as other forums, but right now I see Cali is on the rise for sure.. Leslie-I have been watching those Alexa rankings go up too!! Each day I see that number going up (or should I say down-but I think you know what I mean!)
